I heard they use to favor Swiss watches but recently started to wear g-shocks.
Does anyone know what modeks they wear?
They wear whatever they buy themselves. Rarely are watches issued. The few times I have seen them issued, it was a SUUNTO.

While watching some military videos, some drill sergeants said that their purpose is to break down a civilian and then build up a soldier.
