TYT,
I can’t …
TYT,
I can’t believe that you could twist what Rush Limbaugh is saying like that. Sick.

@teambedell I don’t …
@teambedell I don’t even think Hitler would find Rush’s “clever” satire amusing.

The TYT twists the …
The TYT twists the news again. Dumpster diving isn’t evil. It is necessary for some people to dive.
And kids starving? If the parents can eat, the kids sure can too. Government gives out tons of food stamps a month to poor people.

I think America needs more of a Republican Congress.

@LameGamerTag Rush …
@LameGamerTag Rush is all about sarcasm. You don’t find it funny or like it fine, but he isn’t seriously considering the dumpster diving thing and I believe you are smart enough to get that, unlike some people in here. You hit the nail on the head with “dependent.” What people don’t get is that this current government wants you dependent, they absolutely hate business and free markets. That’s why they take over all these industries! Safety net (if it’s temporary), not career welfare like it is.

Are you actually …
Are you actually this thick, or are you pretending you don’t understand what Rush was saying? Based on your comments about conservatives, I expect much of life’s subtlety and nuance is utterly lost on you. You’re wasting your energy with such obtuseness, whether genuine or contrived.

Poor kids are …
Poor kids are staving because parents are EVIL and ONLY the almighty federal government can save the day!!!! But as Rush rightly points out, what happens when school is out and the government is not providing the free meals? Kids dying in the streets of course! Kids robbing convenience stores to just to stay alive! It happens ever year doesn’t it? So what better plan than to help find away for kids NOT to starve to death? Dumpster diving! It WILL reduce starvation induced acts of crime!

@teambedell Yes I …
@teambedell Yes I acknowledge that Rush does give out to charity but Rush’s commentary here is…. harsh. Suggesting that kids dumpster dive for food shouldn’t even be in the topic. Yes, government shouldn’t help too much or else they get too dependent but there must be a safety net SOMEWHERE. Otherwise people would just starve to death because some people live off of minimum wage or even less. It’s a choice they must make – pay the rent or eat today. Most choose the latter.

Here in Milwaukee …
Here in Milwaukee there are some schools that will give free meals for children in the summer.

The sad part is, we …
The sad part is, we shouldn’t have to rely on school lunch to feed the citizens of this country. The nation’s domestic food prices should be low enough for everyone to be fed, and measures should be in place to prevent over-feeding. I think they took him out of context with the dumpster diving bit; it was more of a sarcastic and ironic approach. For a lot of people in Mexico, this is a daily reality.

@mrplow8 If my …
@mrplow8 If my taxes are spent feeding hungry kids (as they ARE in the country where I currently live), then I have no problem paying them.
If my taxes are being spent to bomb the out of kids in Iraq, then I have a HUGE problem paying for them.
Govt “tyranny” didn’t run me out of America, it was the “tyranny” of neo-cons and libertarians like you, who cheerled that war in complete hypocritical opposition to everything that they (and America) CLAIMED to stand for
