    you got a point there.. some finns do have a lousy self esteem.. mostly those who keep saying that all the finns have poor self esteem.

    It’s perfectly natural for a small nation to be proud of those little moments when we are mentioned and noticed.

    Finnish people has probably the lowest self-esteem in the whole world. Everybody here are in ecstacy when our country is mentioned in international media. It doesn’t matter whether it’s due a school massacre, david beckham’s visit, success in sport, etc.
    That’s why we hate swedish; they are so well known and everything is always going so well in there. Luckily we’ve got Russia next to us, those poor bastards. Now I must go to cry myself to sleep – or maybe I just shoot myself?

    Well yeah, I was on an exchange with a guy who could drive a rearwheeldrive Mercedes without abs or anything on ice, drift, and make handbrake turns… without crashing into one of the billions of trees we passed. I sat in the back with a friend, and we were too scared to be in awe :P

    Haha, makes me feel so proud of my country when I watch this… True, my cousin (15yrs old, I’m 14) lives at countryside and at holidays I visit them. There we spend time by driving on an onion field with a totally crushed BMW – only motor, transmission and brakes working, no need for anything else… : D
